Third baseman Vinny Castilla hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI and Jose Contreras dominated striking out 10 Chicago batters as the Chainsaw Proctologists beat the Chicago Rastafarians by a score of 6 to 1. Contreras(2-1) gave Chainsaw a solid outing. He didn't allow much, just 6 hits and 4 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 2.25. Chainsaw finished with 9 hits in the victory. Mark Prior(1-1) was the loser. He was not very effective, surrendering 5 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings. When asked about his strikeout total for the game, Contreras offered, 'The fan's really got into it. It is fun to see them tally up the strikeout totals up there in the stands. Fortunately, I kept them busy this afternoon - of course, it would be all for naught without the 'W'.'
